Situated in the town’s historic Bingham Hall, with convenient free parking nearby and easy access, the Cirencester Toy & Train Collectors’ Fair was launched in January 2014. It now takes place regularly, five times each year, with events typically scheduled for early and late Spring, and then late Summer and just before Christmas.
Widely recognised as one of the most enjoyable fairs for toy and games collectors in the country, the Cirencester event has space for around 120 tables generously heaped with stock. The emphasis is firmly on vintage diecast, trains, games, action figures and models from the 1950s through to the 1980s, but visitors will also find dealers offering a much wider range of collectables, including militaria, medals, ephemera and what might generically be described as ‘boys toys’.
Refreshments are available on-site throughout the day, from a Full English Breakfast through to afternoon tea and a piece of cake. There are facilities for the disabled on site.
Whether you’re a dealer or a collector, or just looking for a trip down memory lane, Ronnie and Tim will be aiming to make this the best, most enjoyable fair for everybody to enjoy. Children of all ages are, of course, very welcome.
Early-birds and trade from 8:00 am, main doors open at 10:00 am, with entrance at £2.50 per head and free entry for children under 16.
